Mitek

Mitek is a commercial vendor of mobile capture and digital identity technology. It sells products that verify who a customer is during onboarding and later logins, and that detect fraud such as deepfakes, biometric spoofing, injection attacks, template attacks and synthetic identities.

The identity line includes MiVIP, an identity verification platform, MiPass for biometric authentication and Digital Fraud Defender for generative AI fraud detection. Liveness products cover passive face liveness (IDLive Face) and document liveness (IDLive Doc). A separate check line covers mobile check deposit, check fraud detection, check data intelligence and enhanced altered-check detection through Positive Pay Plus.

Solutions are grouped by use case, such as age verification, KYC compliance, customer onboarding, in-person verification, passwordless authentication, reusable identity and right to work, and by industry, including banking, fintech, marketplaces and iGaming.
