About Margin

Margin converts a YouTube video into a tidy Google Doc stored in your Drive. Each document includes a short summary, key takeaways with deep-linked timestamps, quotes, action items and a ready-to-paste thread, and it is generated from the video's captions. A weekly digest email resurfaces what you learned so it sticks.

There is also a creator side. An idea engine reads the notes from what you have watched and suggests your next video idea, with your videos and channel analyzed so an idea can be validated before you film. The site calls this the creator suite, in addition to sections named Capture, Ideate and Grow. Sign-in is with Google, and the homepage states no credit card and 10 free videos per month. It also lists a pricing section for paid use, and says documents stay in your own Drive.
