LUYA

LUYA is a scalable web framework and content management system built on the Yii 2 PHP framework. Its stated goal is to please developers, clients and users alike. It wraps Yii 2 with out-of-the-box functions such as an administration interface, a content management system, payment modules and agency workflows, so that agencies and developers can build websites quickly.

The project is organized into modules: a core library that extends Yii, a CMS module covering the admin and frontend with blocks and page rendering, and an admin module that provides the admin UI and CRUD operations. The admin interface uses Angular, and the topics include REST API and Bootstrap 4. The documentation offers a step-by-step installation guide, video tutorials, API docs, a changelog and upgrade notes.

Support is available through GitHub issues and a forum. Development setup for contributors involves a test database, PHPUnit and Karma for JavaScript tests. LUYA is licensed under MIT and written in PHP, so you host it yourself on a standard PHP stack.
