About Liso

Liso converts text on the web into audio. You highlight an article, newsletter or blog post in Chrome, right-click and choose Listen with Liso, or paste text into the app, and it turns the text into natural-sounding audio in seconds, like a personal podcast made from your reading list. The extension is optional, because pasting works too.

The app offers multiple premium AI voices, adjustable playback speed from 0.75x to 2x, offline downloads for commutes and flights, playback that resumes across devices and folders and tags to organize listens. The site positions it as an alternative to Speechify, NaturalReader and ElevenLabs Reader.

Liso is a hosted service. The free plan allows a few listens per month, Diamond costs $17 per month for unlimited listens, Titanium costs $88 for six months and Platinum costs $107 for twelve months. A pricing page, blog, privacy page and contact form are linked from the site.
