About Kyze
Kyze is a food cost and pricing platform for independent restaurant operators, coffee shops and single-location restaurants. It calculates the exact cost of each dish from ingredient quantities, yield and loss rates and sub-recipes such as sauces and bases, and it includes channel-specific packaging, delivery commissions and a target margin to give the selling price needed on each channel.
A comparative pricing feature works out what nearby businesses typically pay for the ingredients you share with them, based on recent transactions, so you see the local benchmark, your deviation from it and the effect on margins. Menu intelligence reports show the number of ingredients across the menu, the most and least used items, the biggest waste contributors and the ingredients that drive cost, which helps spot over-complex menus and low-rotation items.
Food usage control calculates the ingredient quantities that the recipes and the dishes sold should have used, automatically if a POS is synced and by entering dishes sold otherwise. It then shows theoretical usage, expected food cost and possible leakage, and lets you simulate future orders or catering before buying. Kyze is a hosted service in English and French with a demo and a free trial.
