About Kick

Kick is a live streaming platform where creators broadcast to viewers who watch, follow channels and subscribe. Its main pitch to streamers is a larger share of subscription revenue than some competing platforms, which it uses to attract creators.

The homepage organizes live content by category, including Just Chatting, IRL, games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty and Fortnite, art and music, and gambling. Company links point to Kick Streamers, a developer area, bounties, a shop and Drops, along with standard legal, community guideline and DMCA pages.

Kick is a proprietary, hosted platform that runs in the browser and through apps. Viewers can log in or sign up to follow channels, and creators handle monetization through the platform's subscription and partner programs.
