About Insidr

Insidr lets artists charge fans a monthly subscription at a price the artist sets. Fans, called Insidrs, stream a vault of released and unreleased music such as demos, B-sides, voice notes and live recordings in a dedicated iOS and Android app, and artists share behind-the-scenes photos, videos and direct chat.

The artist dashboard shows who is paying and what they play, monthly estimates with a fee breakdown, insights into listening and exportable fan data including interest and join date. The site contrasts this with per-play streaming payouts and argues that owning the fan relationship matters more than depending on algorithms.

It is free for artists to start. In the example calculation on the page the platform keeps 20 percent, with Stripe processing fees deducted, and the company mentions a startup award in Wales in 2024 along with press and case study pages.
