Hookdeck

Hookdeck is a commercial service that handles webhooks so teams do not need to build the plumbing themselves. Its Event Gateway sits in front of an application to receive inbound webhooks and external events, then routes, queues and retries them with observability and control.

Event Gateway features include delivery groups, routing and filters, queueing with rate limiting, logs and operational safeguards, along with automatic issue detection and replay. Outpost handles the opposite direction, adding outbound webhook and event delivery to an API or SaaS product with tenant management, topics, subscriptions and a user portal, in a managed or self-hosted form. Supporting tools include a CLI for debugging on localhost, a Console for inspecting payloads and Radar for alerts on third-party webhook latency. Hookdeck is proprietary, offers a free start, and publishes documentation, an API reference, a Terraform provider and a pricing page.
