About Guidesnap

Guidesnap is a web tool that turns a screen recording into written documentation. You upload an .mp4, .mov, .webm or .mkv file up to 90 minutes long, name the guide, choose whether to include screenshots and add your logo, and the service produces a PDF guide.

Speech recognition transcribes the narration and vision models follow cursor movement, clicks and scene changes to split the walkthrough into numbered steps, each with a title, description and a screenshot taken at the right moment. The PDF has a cover page, table of contents and callouts, and an in-browser editor lets you edit steps and rebuild the PDF without uploading again. English, Russian and other languages are supported.

The site offers three free guides with no card required, and a pricing page and roadmap are linked from the navigation. It is a hosted commercial tool aimed at teams that document software processes and want the result as a branded file rather than a video.
