About GitPage

GitPage builds a real website from a template and a few questions. You choose one of eight starting points such as local business, store, portfolio, directory or video landing page, answer questions about heading, services, brand color and logo, and the AI generates copy and design, pushes it to a code repository and enables Pages hosting, so the site is live in under three minutes.

Editing happens through a Model Context Protocol server that works with Claude and ChatGPT. You can ask Claude Code to shorten a hero, swap a testimonial or add an FAQ row; edits land in a draft slot with preview, validation, rollback and SHA conflict detection, and are published only on request. Nine tools such as list_sites, read_site_file, edit_site_file and publish_draft cover reading and changing files, including multi-file atomic changes. OAuth is used in the desktop app and an API key in the terminal.
