About Gameplan
Gameplan is an open-source discussion tool for remote teams, built by the Frappe team after chat apps such as Telegram caused people to miss important conversations. It is async-first: someone starts a thread and colleagues reply when they are ready, so nobody has to stay online all day.
Spaces group discussions by project, team, client or topic, keeping threads easy to find. Pages work as shared or private notes for meeting minutes, proposals and ideas, and customizable profiles with cover images and short bios help distributed colleagues get to know each other.
Gameplan runs on the Frappe Framework with the Frappe UI Vue library and Redisearch for search. You can install it yourself, or use Frappe Cloud, the project's managed hosting platform that handles setup, upgrades and monitoring. It is released under the AGPL-3.0 licence.
