About FitCal

FitCal logs meals in several ways: point the camera at a plate, say what you ate, type it, scan a barcode or search a food database, and the AI works out calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat. It sets daily calorie and macro targets from your lifestyle and goal, shows how much still fits into your day and lets you add meals from up to seven days earlier.

It can build a meal plan inside your targets, respecting restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free and allergies, with swappable dishes, your own recipes and PDF export. The diary is organized by meal, with water, weight and progress photos, and an iPhone sync with the Health app. An AI coach answers questions based on what you actually ate, and you can generate a PDF report for a dietitian.

Other features are streaks and recaps, community groups with a streak leaderboard, a home screen widget and a Live Activity. The app is free to download and full access, including AI logging, barcode, the food database and meal plans, requires a subscription. It allows export and deletion of your data inside the app.
