About Expirel

Expirel tracks expiry dates and daily habits in one app. You add items such as food, medicines, documents or subscriptions with a name and expiry date, and it reminds you ahead of time so that nothing is wasted or lapses unnoticed.

Adding items can be done by taking a photo of a product label, where AI reads the name, brand, category and expiry date in any language, with a daily free scan allowance, or by scanning a barcode. Reminders can be set for one day, three days, a week or longer before expiry and delivered by email, WhatsApp and browser push notifications. Family groups let members share tracking and get their own reminders, and members join for free.

The habit side supports daily or weekly habits with streak tracking and milestones, and the app offers analytics on top. The site advertises a free plan, and also describes itself as an expiry and habit tracker intended to reduce waste.
