About DomiSol

DomiSol is a browser-based music notation editor for the tonic sol-fa and jianpu systems. You type solfa syllables such as d r m f s l t, or jianpu numbers 1 to 7, and the score is rendered and can be played back, so choirs and music teachers can write hymns and choral pieces in the notation they already read.

Arrangements for soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices are supported, with mute and solo controls per voice. A single click converts between solfa and jianpu, and the editor handles movable-do, octave marks and rhythm dashes. Scores can be shared and exported as a PDF, and the service is also available as an app on Google Play.

DomiSol is a hosted product with a free plan that needs no card, advertising unlimited scores, playback and sharing. It is aimed at church choirs, music educators, students and jianpu musicians.
