About Codecademy
Codecademy is an online learning platform for programming and other technical skills. Learners work through interactive lessons in a browser, and the catalog covers languages and topics such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, C#, Go, HTML and CSS, web development, data science, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing and DevOps.
Beyond self-paced courses, the platform offers career paths, certification prep, interview prep, live bootcamps and workshops with industry professionals, and an AI Builder for learning by building working prototypes. Some courses come with a certificate. Codecademy Pro is a subscription, and an All Access Pass bundles every bootcamp and workshop with Pro.
Teams can buy a business plan with flexible content assignment and progress tracking. Codecademy is a hosted commercial service with a free way to start learning, and it cannot be self-hosted.
