About Beap

Beap is a bookkeeping-support tool for founders and small businesses that need to hand clean records to an accountant. Its premise is that missing receipts and forgotten context pile up as bookkeeping debt, so each transaction should get a supporting document when it happens rather than months later.

It acts as a single place for invoices, bills and bank transactions. Bank statements come in as CSV exports, with Wise and Mercury handled out of the box and other banks read by a general parser, including multi-currency accounts where fees are grouped under the right parent charge. An AI assistant called Roofus matches documents to transactions.

Beap is a commercial, hosted product with a free trial and a pricing page, and its site also links to docs and customer stories. The company says it does not do the bookkeeping for the user but reduces the matching work, which suits freelancers and small companies that work with an external accountant.
