About Anyquery

Anyquery is a SQL query engine built on top of SQLite that lets you run queries against almost any data source. Instead of writing separate scripts for each service, you use plugins to expose files, databases and applications such as Notion, GitHub, Airtable, Todoist or Chrome as tables you can select from, join and filter with ordinary SQL.

It can be used in several ways. A shell mode opens straight from the terminal, and an anyquery server command starts a MySQL-compatible server so tools like TablePlus or Metabase can connect to it. It also speaks the Model Context Protocol, which lets assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor read your data, and clients that support function calling can connect too.

The tool is written in Go and distributed through common package managers including Homebrew, APT, YUM/DNF, Scoop, Winget and Chocolatey. It runs locally on your own machine, so queries and credentials stay under your control. It suits developers, analysts and anyone who wants one query layer across their scattered SaaS and file data.
