About Agno Agent UI
Agent UI is a modern chat interface for AgentOS, the runtime from the Agno agent framework. It is a template built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS and TypeScript that connects to your AgentOS instances so you can talk to your agents through a polished web front end instead of building one yourself. It targets developers already running Agno agents locally or in production.
The interface streams responses in real time, visualizes tool calls and their results, shows the agent's reasoning steps when available, and lists the sources an agent used. It handles several content types, including images, video and audio. The UI is built with shadcn/ui and Framer Motion and can be restyled through Tailwind CSS.
The main branch supports Agno v2.x, and a v1 branch exists for legacy v1.x installs. You must have an AgentOS instance running before you connect, and the README offers automatic and manual installation, with the manual route running a local development server at port 3000. The project is MIT licensed and tagged as self-hosted.
