About Whop

Whop is an online platform where people create and run businesses selling digital products, memberships, communities and services. It bundles a storefront, ads manager, checkout and wallet into one product, so sellers do not assemble these pieces separately.

The site lists business models it supports, such as coaching and courses, services, physical products, marketplaces, paid groups, software, telehealth and events. Developers can embed Whop components, including checkout, wallet and chat, through APIs and packages, and the company promotes AI tools for starting and operating a business.

Whop is a commercial, vendor-hosted marketplace with a pricing page, listed under both communities and e-commerce. It suits creators and operators who want to sell access and products without building their own payments and community infrastructure.
