About WetoDrive
WetoDrive moves files from WeTransfer to Google Drive without downloading and re-uploading them. You connect your Drive once, paste any WeTransfer link, either a short we.tl link or a full download URL, and close the tab. The service streams the files server to server and sends an email when they land in your Drive. No WeTransfer account is needed, only the link you were sent, and a Dropbox version is also available.
The site is aimed at people who receive large deliveries regularly, such as architects, VFX artists, post-production teams, creative agencies, photo studios, motion designers and videographers. The Google permission requested is limited to adding files, so the service cannot read, open or delete existing Drive contents. Files pass through, and the temporary copy is removed as soon as the upload completes, big files are uploaded in pieces and pick up where they stopped if interrupted, and access can be disconnected with one button. The first transfer is free, and file size limits grow with the plan: the first transfer reaches 1 GB, Pro handles up to 25 GB, Premium up to 500 GB and Ultra up to 1 TB.
