About WaterChamp
WaterChamp is a drink tracker for iPhone and Android with a mascot that reacts to your day. It ships with 102 preset drinks ranging from espresso to boba, and every drink carries its own hydration, caffeine, alcohol and calorie values, so milk counts for more than water and spirits count for nothing toward hydration. Coffee and tea are logged in shots and cups, and the numbers for any drink can be edited. The daily goal comes from your weight, activity and climate.
Instead of a single daily total, it keeps a running hydration level that falls between drinks, shown on a scale from Thirsty to Waterlogged. It forecasts when you will next be thirsty and reminds you shortly before. A caffeine tracker estimates what remains in your system and finds the latest time you can have a coffee and still sleep, with a warning before that cutoff, while an alcohol feature estimates blood alcohol content.
Motivation comes from streaks with daily check-ins, day recaps, and 29 collectible stickers. Progress also appears in widgets on the home and lock screens, and on Android the app syncs with Health Connect. The goal adjusts for exercise and sleep.
