About Vecto3d

Vecto3d is a free, open-source tool for giving flat SVG artwork depth, material, lighting and motion. It runs entirely in the browser with nothing to install and no account, and uploaded files stay in the browser rather than being sent to a server.

The workflow is to add an SVG by uploading, dragging, pasting or choosing an example, then shape it by adjusting depth, bevel thickness, bevel size and smoothness in real time. You then choose a material preset or tune roughness, metalness, clearcoat and color, preview the model in several lighting environments with adjustable intensity, set a background and optional bloom effect, and rotate the model in the viewport. Results can be exported as a still image, an animation or a 3D file, with PNG, MP4 and GIF among the listed formats. The same compact controls work on desktop and mobile.

Vecto3d is built with Next.js, React Three Fiber, Three.js, shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS, and licensed under MIT. It is available at vecto3d.app, and the code can be run locally.
