About Unity Actions
Game, published as GameCI's Unity Actions, is a set of GitHub Actions for testing and building Unity projects automatically. It is not affiliated with Unity Technologies and is part of the wider GameCI effort. Teams add the actions to a GitHub workflow so every commit can be verified and packaged without manual steps.
The actions cover the main stages of a pipeline: requesting an activation file, activating and returning a Unity license, running edit mode, play mode or combined tests, and building for targets such as WebGL, Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, Universal Windows Platform and AppleTV. Checkout and dependency caching rely on native GitHub Actions support. Dedicated server builds and some console targets are marked as in progress or subject to an NDA.
The project is released under the MIT license. It targets game developers and studios that already host their code on GitHub and want repeatable continuous integration for Unity, and the GameCI website is the place to look for further documentation.
