About tonr
Tonr is an AI-native video and sound tool that analyzes a video edit and scores it to match. It follows the pacing, finds cuts and scene changes, builds music that lands on moments such as a logo reveal, places sound effects like a whoosh into a title or an impact on the last frame, and times captions to match. Every choice is presented as a suggestion you can change.
The output is a session file with a full mix in WAV and MP3, stems, sound effects, captions and a catalog-check report, plus a cue sheet listing each cue with its timecode and layer. Stems can be split into vocals, drums, bass and guitar. Exports are meant to drop into editors such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Media Composer, CapCut and Descript.
Tonr also offers separate tools for turning video into music, splitting stems, removing vocals, checking music against copyright catalogs and generating music from an idea. The product is in beta with early access through a waitlist, and it is a hosted service for video creators.
