About Strino

Strino is a chord finder for guitar, ukulele and bass players on iPhone and iPad. You can import an audio file, paste a video link, find a song by name or let the app recognize music playing nearby, and it detects the chords and lays them out on a timeline that follows the music, with lyrics and chord names above the words. It also displays the key, tempo and time signature, a diagram for each chord, and lets you change the speed or key or use a capo to practice.

Beyond song analysis there is a chord library with hundreds of chords for guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, bass and cavaquinho, with several positions per chord, finger numbers and playback, plus chord progressions you can play along to in any key and tempo. Music theory pages cover intervals, modes, the circle of fifths and scales shown on the fretboard, and the tools include a chromatic tuner with alternate tunings such as Drop D and Open G and a metronome. The library, theory, tuner and metronome are free, while Premium adds unlimited song analysis, saved chords and no ads.
