About Paymentsetu
PaymentSetu is explicitly not a payment gateway but a payment verification service for merchants. A customer scans a unique QR code with any UPI app such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm and pays directly into the merchant's bank account. PaymentSetu checks the merchant account, matches the transaction to the QR code and sends a webhook notification with the payment details so the order can be completed. It never holds the money, and the site advertises zero commission.
The tool provides dynamic QR generation for each transaction, webhook integration, a unified dashboard for transactions from multiple sources, real-time notifications and an API with documentation. A notice on the site clarifies that it is not connected with traffic challan or other government payments and that fines must be paid on official government portals.
Pricing is by 30-day plan with credits, where one credit is one successful payment: Starter at 399 rupees for 100 credits, Pro at 999 rupees for 1,000 credits, and Business at 1,499 rupees for 100,000 credits.
