About OpenTweet
OpenTweet is a hosted posting layer for X, built so AI agents can publish without the owner applying for an X developer account. A single API key points any MCP or REST client at a hosted endpoint exposing 43 tools, and a command-line interface is available too. It lists Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw and Hermes among the clients that work with it.
A calendar, a post studio and analytics all read the same queue the agent writes to, so people on a team can review or reschedule posts without touching the API. You can write a post or thread once and cross-post it to X, Bluesky and LinkedIn as native posts rather than link mirrors. Threads become reply chains on X and Bluesky, and a post over a network's length limit is skipped on that network with a stated reason rather than cut short.
The result of each publish is recorded per network, so you can see what published, failed or was skipped. Bluesky connects with a handle and one approval, and LinkedIn uses its own sign-in to post to a personal profile. There is a 7-day free trial, then plans start from $11.99 per month.
