About Molted Email

Molted Email gives an AI agent its own email address and sits between the agent and everyone it emails. It screens incoming mail so strangers cannot give the agent orders, and when a message tries to take over, the agent only learns that the message was quarantined.

Outgoing mail is checked too. Molted remembers what has been sent and refuses an identical email to one recipient twice within a few minutes, with a reason the agent can act on. When an agent decides a person should take over, such as a refund it should not grant, it passes the thread to you with a note and stays out until you return it. Autonomy is a setting on each mailbox.

It works with Claude Code, Cursor and Codex through an MCP server, a CLI and a REST API, and has an app for managing mailboxes. The site invites you to start free and has docs, tools and pricing pages.
