Meet For Slack: features, pricing and alternatives

About Meet For Slack

Meet for Slack adds a /meet command to Slack. Typing it in any channel, group or direct message generates a new Google Meet link, and you can optionally set a meeting name, so starting a video call no longer means switching to another tab.

It opens the meeting with the correct Google account, which saves switching accounts by hand. When people join the call, their Slack status is set to an on-a-call message and resets automatically after 15 minutes.

The site says the app asks for only a few essential permissions and does not request unnecessary user or workspace data. It is a commercial subscription product with a free 60-day trial, and the site carries a pricing page, FAQs and a status page.
