About MausBot

MausBot is a chat app for working with a team of AI bots. You download the desktop app for Mac, Windows or Linux, connect one supported provider such as Claude Code or Codex through an onboarding check, and create bots with a name, a connected engine and a model. Phone apps are companions, and you start on your computer.

The interface shows bots for different jobs, such as one for research and sources, one for writing and editing and one for notes, along with routines, triggers and apps. A working folder is only needed for tasks that involve files. The bots are described as able to browse the web, do research, complete forms and draft writing on a computer.

The app is free and open source. You bring your own AI account or API key, so provider fees and limits apply, and the site also lists an enterprise option, a pricing page, a blog and a Discord community.
