About LookLab

LookLab lets men preview haircuts before visiting a barber. You upload one photo, browse a library of more than 300 hairstyles, mostly styles associated with celebrities, and see yourself with the chosen cut in about 30 seconds, with a before-and-after slider to compare. Styles are labeled by length, texture and vibe, such as a textured quiff, a French crop or a curly style.

A reference image transfer feature lets you upload a picture of a haircut you like so the AI applies that exact style to your photo, like bringing a picture to your barber. The vendor says the model accounts for face shape, skin tone and lighting, and that new styles are added regularly.

On privacy, photos are processed securely and automatically deleted from its servers and not shared. LookLab is a hosted service with pricing, refund and contact pages, and you can start free. The site also notes a fair refund policy for users who are not satisfied.
