About Hex

Hex is a commercial platform for data analysis that mixes notebook-style work with BI-style sharing. Analysts and data scientists write SQL and Python cells against connected data sources, and the same project can then be turned into an interactive report that colleagues use without touching code.

Because notebooks are shared, several people can work on a project together, and non-technical users can explore the published results with filters and inputs. The product also includes AI features that help write queries and code. Hex is a hosted service aimed at data teams who want a single place for exploration, modeling and reporting.
