About Hackstat

Hackstat is a macOS app for app store optimization that stores its workspace locally rather than in the cloud. It researches public App Store and Google Play listings, lets you save keywords worth following, and compares competitor apps and their positions.

Saved ranking snapshots build a history of how positions change over 7, 30 and 90 days, and results can be exported as CSV reports. Listing audits review listing text, check character counts for name and description and run local metadata checks before an update. An interactive sample workspace on the site lets visitors try it without an account.

It is sold as a one-time license for one Mac at 10 dollars with no subscription, and the site includes a page comparing it with Astro. It is aimed at independent developers and small teams who optimize their own app listings.
