Gluten, Not For Me: features, pricing and alternatives

About Gluten, Not For Me

Gluten, Not For Me answers whether a supermarket product contains gluten after you point the camera at its barcode. A green result means no gluten-containing ingredient was detected, red means it contains gluten and highlights the offending ingredient, and yellow signals a may-contain cross-contamination warning.

Detection compares allergen tags, trace warnings and every listed ingredient with gluten-containing grains such as wheat, barley, rye, oats, spelt and kamut, using the Open Food Facts database. Gluten words are highlighted in the ingredient list, Nutri-Score is shown, and the last 100 scans sync through iCloud. The developer says there is no tracking, no ads and no server, and describes the result as an indicative aid rather than medical advice.
