About Factura

Factura is an invoicing application for freelancers and independent professionals in Switzerland. It creates quotes and QR invoices that follow Swiss standards, which you can export as a PDF or email to the client from inside the app. Invoice creation is a short flow: pick a client and due date, add line items you can save as templates, then send.

Expenses can be logged with your own categories, assigned to suppliers, supported by attached receipts and imported in bulk from a CSV file. Time tracking offers a timer in the web app or in Mac and Windows apps, a rate set once per project and client, and a way to turn selected hours into an invoice. An address book keeps client data in sync with quotes and invoices, and reports cover invoiced amounts by client, profit and loss, expenses by category and VAT broken down by rate.

The site says Factura is built and hosted in Switzerland and is available in several languages including English. A free 14-day trial is offered with no commitment, and documentation and a blog are available.
