About DbSchema

DbSchema is a commercial desktop tool for designing, documenting and managing database schemas visually. It connects to a large number of SQL and NoSQL databases, among them PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, MariaDB, BigQuery, Snowflake and ClickHouse, and turns their structure into ER diagrams.

Teams can design a schema offline, review schema changes in Git, synchronize changes across environments and deploy them. Beyond diagramming, it includes a visual query builder with filters, ordering and grouping, an SQL editor, data exploration and generated documentation that colleagues can read without database access.

A free Community Edition requires no signup, and the vendor offers a 15-day Pro trial. Paid editions are listed on its purchase page. Because it runs on your own computer and uses its own project files, it fits teams who want diagrams and schema definitions kept alongside their code.
