About BracketBuddy

BracketBuddy is a web calculator for Canadians who want to estimate their income taxes before filing. You pick a province or territory, add your income sources and deductions, and it shows how much you may owe or get back as a refund, with a breakdown of federal and provincial tax and CPP or QPP contributions.

It handles employment income from T4 slips, self-employment, capital gains, dividends, rental income and other income, and supports every province and territory including Quebec. Deduction fields cover RRSP and FHSA contributions, union dues, childcare, moving and medical expenses, donations, tuition and student loan interest.
