About Basevolt

Basevolt is a local-first database admin panel generator. You connect it to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite or Cloudflare D1 and get a full admin interface for viewing, editing and organizing your data, with processing kept on your own machine instead of a cloud service.

AI detects field types, sets up relationships and configures display settings, and an MCP server lets tools such as Claude or Cursor manage the schema. Data can be viewed as a dashboard, grid, gallery, kanban or map, and the app includes an AI assistant, webhooks and automation. The pitch is an alternative to cloud admin tools that need production database access, charge per seat or become unavailable when the vendor's servers go down.

Basevolt is proprietary software that is free for up to 2 data sources with no account or credit card; paid upgrades add automation. The site also has a changelog, a blog and an FAQ.
