AskInstead replaces the back-and-forth of gathering details from clients. The user describes what they need to learn and who will answer, then shares a single link. The respondent answers by voice or text, the AI asks follow-up questions where answers are thin, and the user receives an organized brief.

Two main conversation types are offered. Client discovery happens before a proposal or first project meeting and covers goals, constraints and decisions that affect the project. Client intake happens after the work is agreed and identifies contacts, current processes, dependencies and preparation items. Other examples include screening candidates, preparing for appointments and logging maintenance issues.

AskInstead is a hosted commercial product that lets visitors try one real test without signing up or entering a card. It suits consultants, agencies and service businesses that want better information before meetings and projects begin.
