About AnySend

AnySend lets you send files between any two devices from a web browser. You drop a file or folder on the page, which generates a six-character code and a QR code, and the receiver enters the code at the AnySend site to start the transfer. It works across iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.

The transfer is peer-to-peer, and the vendor states that files never touch its servers and are encrypted in transit. There is no account to create and no app to install, and the site says there are no file size limits. It is pitched as an AirDrop-like experience for devices from different platforms. AnySend is a free, hosted web tool from an independent vendor. The site also offers guides, an FAQ and a privacy page.
